This feature may not be enabled for your organisation; please contact your account manager or reach out to the Sponge Support team for more information.
Training Codes allow users to create their own account and add their own contact information, as opposed to a manager having to create the account first. The code can be distributed to multiple users and can have an expiry date.
Training codes can be redeemed by new users (i.e. self-registration) or by existing users (to obtain additional training).
How to create a Training Code
Select the 'Activity' tab from the navigation bar at the top of your dashboard.
Click "Training Codes" on the drop-down menu.
In the Training Codes view, select ‘Create training code’.
You can set the code with an expiry date. The code will not be available to use after the expiry date.
Availability can set to new users, existing users or new and existing users.
New users will have to register with their details.
Existing users will have to sign in first before they can enter the code:
Choose which organisational unit the user should be allocated to.
You have the ability to choose which fields they should complete. If you wish to make the field mandatory, please select ‘Required’ (These options would be excluded from Existing users, as this data would have already been captured).
Select which training you would like to allocate. Once again, you will be able to set due dates and expiry dates in relation to the original sign update (i.e. + 1 day).
If you wish to notify one of the managers when the code is redeemed, you can select their name within 'Notifications'.
Click save to create the training code:
You are able to select the 'Redeemed by' tab and review available training codes. You can also select a training code to view who has redeemed the code.
This screen will show you the redemption URL:
