To distribute training to multiple Users at once, see Distribution - Multiple Users in Bulk.
Ensure that you have Notifications (located in Settings > Notifications) set up in your LMS to inform Users of when they have been assigned training. If you have no notifications set up, Users will not receive any communications when they are assigned training.
Training can be distributed to individual Users, which is useful for ensuring the receipt of specific training that only needs to be received by one account, or for a more personalised distribution where needed.
This option is located in the User profile.
The Distribution Process
Distributing Training to a User Account
Select the "Users" option in the Manager navigation menu, at the top right of the screen.
Once selected a list of User accounts will appear.
Use the 'Search' option on the right side to search for the specific User account to receive training, and select the name of the User account that will receive training to go to their account profile.
At the bottom of the tab options for their account, click the blue button labelled "Distribute Training to [User Name]";
The Training Distribution options will then be shown, at which point you will be able to select the training that they need to receive.
All training
By default, "All Available training" will be selected. This can be changed using the dropdown options under the Which training? title to select specific content either individually by module, or in group by tag instead.
At this stage you can also set a Due By and/or Expiry date for all the training you are about to distribute, or set these options individually at the point of selecting individual training content.
Specific available training
To choose individual training items, select "Specific available training..." from the drop-down list. You can then select which content (single or multiple items) you will distribute to the account.

Available training by Tag
You can distribute training by Tag by selecting "Available training tagged with..." from the drop-down option as well and is especially useful for bundled or "grouped" content.
Once selected, enter the Tag(s) that the training content is associated with to auto-select it. If the tag exists, after you have entered it the Tag will be listed in blue.
Once you have selected the training to be distributed, click "Continue" to move to the next stage, which will allow you to review the content and confirm the distribution.
Confirming Distribution
Once you have selected the training and decided if/which Due dates or Expiry dates are required, the final screen before Distribution will show you a summary of the action, and the final confirmation button to distribute that content.
When ready, click "Distribute training now" to distribute training to the User.
Take care to review the below information regarding module exclusion, in the case of Users having received the training items previously on their account.
You may encounter a situation where the training that you are distributing to a User has already been distributed to their account, which is stopping you from distributing the currently selected training, or reducing the items that are being distributed to that User.
In order to avoid duplication of training distributions, Spark will automatically be set to exclude training that a User has already received.
If this is the case, ensure that the "Exclude already issued training" option is not checked. This will re-include the training items that the User has already received previously, so they will be reissued that content again.
