What is a Training Code?
Organisations may choose to set up an opt-in or self-registration option for one or more items of training, which can be done on the Spark platform by using a Training Code.
This code will comprise of eight alpha-numeric characters that will be provided to you in text format to enter into the platform, or as a one-time use link.
Do I need one?
You will only need to use a Training Code if you have been provided one by your Manager or Learning Administrator.
If training codes are not available for your Organisation, when you log in you will not see a "Got a Code?" option at the bottom of your learner homepage.
I can't see my training, just the Training Code option?
When you log into your account, you will see a folder underneath "My Training". This will contain the learning content that has been distributed to you.
The "Got a Code?" option located at the bottom of your account will appear for all users in the system if Training Codes are in use by the LMS. However, unless you have been given a code to use directly, you do not need to enter any code into your account.
Where do I use a Training Code?
There are several locations where you may use a training code.
Next to the login options on the Log-In Page will be an option to enter a New Code. This allows you to use a code and create a new account at the same time.
If you already have an account, please sign in before using your Training Code.
When you are logged into your account and on the Learner Homepage, you will see the "Got a Code?" option located at the bottom of the screen. If you have been given a code to use, enter it here.
I used my Training Code, but now it won't work a second time?
Training Codes are single use only. Once you have received the training the code would distribute to you, it will not distribute that content again.
