As a manager in Spark, you can organise users into a company structure that reflects your organisation's hierarchy. This guide explains how to view, edit and create organisational units to keep your structure up to date.
Before you start
- Plan your structure before creating new units to avoid duplicates.
- Assign clear naming conventions for each level (e.g. Region → Area → Team)
- Review bounce recipient and branding settings regularly to keep communications consistent.
- If you don't see Company Structure in Settings, contact Sponge Support to enable it.
Important: Once a level in the structure is created it cannot be deleted.
About Company Structure
The Company Structure allows you to group users into organisational units such as regions, departments, or teams.
Each level in the structure is called an Organisational Unit.
- The top-level unit is already in place by default.
-
Each new unit you create becomes part of the overall hierarchy.

-
Under General, select Company Structure.
