While modules can be created in a variety of formats, this does not mean that all formats are compatible with Sponge Analytics.
Module content must be created strictly as xAPI modules to obtain quantitative details for analysis.
Once this content is processed by Sponge and uploaded to Sponge Analytics, you will be given a SCORM 1.2 format file for your LMS.
Why SCORM 1.2?
SCORM 1.2 is the most compatible module type across all LMS platforms on the market. This makes it the ideal format to provide for any LMS.
Will SCORM 1.2 reduce the data I am able to receive on Sponge Analytics?
No. While the final output of the file is SCORM 1.2 for your LMS, the module is produced as xAPI to ensure that interaction data is available in full, and this level of tracking is maintained.
