Content added onto your LMS for use through Sponge Analytics will appear in the list once it has been accessed for the first time by at least one user. If the module does not appear, it has not yet been launched.
After selecting the module you wish to see more information for, you will see a view with two navigation tabs. One tab will display Summary information, and the other tab will display Interactions information, allowing you to take a deeper dive into the data that has been gathered for that content.
Summary: Overall Results
The Summary view is divided into two sections, the first displaying the overall key information for the module. This is divided into three columns to help you navigate the information effectively.
The first column will display primary information about the module allocation and user completion progress.
- How many Learners have been registered to participate in the module;
- How many Learners have completed the module; and
- How many Learners are In Progress to complete the module.
The second column describes the kind of user completion that has been recorded, and if there is an average scoring for that module. This can be used to gauge difficulty of the content.
- How many Learners have Passed the module;
- How many Learners have Failed the module; and
- What the Average Score of completion is for the module.
The final column of the Summary information provides insight into the engagement data for the module, showing how many times Learners have interacted with it, and how long they have participated in this training.
- The number of times that the module has been launched across all Learners;
- The Average time it takes Learners to complete the module; and
- The total accumulative participation time across all Learners for this module.
Summary: Activity over the last 30 days
At the bottom of the Summary information page for your modules are two Activity charts; Completions, and Registrations Active, each showing data for the last 30 days.
The Completions chart will show you how many times the module has been completed across the last thirty days, providing you with a level understanding of engagement distribution across the last month of time.
Registrations active describes the amount of 'active learners' (captured in the dashboard as Registrations) over the last 30 days.
A learner can engage with the content over a range of days and this would be captured and displayed on this chart to help identify any trends in usage.
Interactions View
The Interactions tab will allow you to explore how your learning content is consumed by your Learners.
It will record all interactions regarding question logic used in a module, allowing you to see a high level over view of Learner interactions and be able to explore these in more granular detail.
This view will report on the standard question formats available for xAPI modules and provide overall information for each assessment question.
- Single Response;
- Multiple Response;
- Single choice True or False;
- Matching;
- Sequencing;
- Short-form Text-based;
- Long-form Text-based; and
- Likert scale;
You will be able to see all Question Interactions recorded for the module. Once a Question is answered, it will appear in the Interactions View.
Each Interaction will allow you to see at a glance the type of Question (the Interaction type), Total responses, the percentage and total sum of Correct responses, the Average attempts taken to answer the question, and how long it took to answer the question on average (Average duration).
The information in this more granular view will show the overview information, as well as a breakdown of the different responses submitted for that interaction.
- Which answer was selected;
- If that answer is correct;
- How many times that answer was selected;
- If the selection was the first, second, or third (or more) attempt.
Number of attempts are not recorded individually above three times, as three attempts already describes an increase in difficulty for the question.
