This is a relatively new issue that is due to browser updates in Microsoft Edge, using another browser should not show this message.
The LMS is a safe service to use, and will not harm your computer or device when you access it.
If you are using Microsoft Edge Browser, you may see an error message when you log in stating that the site is unsafe.
There are a few ways to resolve this issue.
Change Browser (recommended)
The recommended response to seeing this issue is to use another browser. If you do not have one available you may need to download new browser option.
You may need to change the new browser to be your default browser in order to ensure that a different web browser is being used to access the site or any training modules after you have installed it.

Mozilla Firefox |
Opera |
Safari iOS* |
Proceed to the site
If you are a Trainer and need to download presentable modules, or accessing a course requiring Facial Recognition, it is advised that you use another browser or disable the Smartscreen setting in order to proceed without issue.
Click the "More Information" drop down beneath the "Go Back" button, and selecting "Continue to the unsafe site (not recommended)".
Disable Microsoft Defender Smartscreen
This option is intended only as a temporary measure and you should re-enable this setting when you log out of the site to ensure you maintain your usual web browsing security.
To remove this error message for every time you visit the site, you can turn it off. To turn it off, begin by going to your settings options in Edge. Click the three dots in the top right corner, and click "Settings", located near the bottom of the menu.
In the Settings menu, select "Privacy, search, and services" on the left side column.
Scroll down the options for Privacy until you reach the Security section. Microsoft Defender Smartscreen will show as enabled, and this is the setting that needs to be turned off. Click the blue slider to turn Smartscreen off.
Once complete, your setting for Microsoft Defender SmartScreen will look like the below.
Then, click the tab to go back to the blocked site and refresh the page (by clicking the circular arrow), or navigate back to the login page to log in as normal.
