A core component of our ISO:9001 accredited project management process is thorough and robust testing, and every solution we produce has been reviewed in depth before being approved for release.
Our QA team test projects across a wide range of browsers, based upon usage statistics on our most widely visited sites; this allows us to collect specific Google Analytics data to allow us to make an informed decision on what browsers to test upon.
For example, although we do test across a number of environments, we won't test on old versions of Internet Explorer (versions 6,7,8,9,10), because the actual usage of these browsers is low. Similarly, other browsers such as Firefox and Opera, whilst modern and popular amongst many users, do not make up a substantial portion of overall users; hence we don't allocate testing budget during projects to make sure sites look and work correctly in a browser that has only a tiny percentage of users.
The table below shows the browser statistics, as collated December 2020
- We fully support the latest version of Chrome and all modern Evergreen browsers.
- Fully support the latest version of iOS
- Devices are kept up-to-date, and as such, may be tested on a later version of the OS (this is device dependant).
