Scheduling Performance Reviews
Managers who are completing Performance Reviews will need to have the correct permissions set on their individual accounts.
With all the settings and considerations in place, you can now begin to Schedule a Performance Review, using one of three different methods.
- Distributing a Performance Review, an option that can be made available for managers;
- Via a Trainee Profile directly, by a manager with permissions; or
- When a previous PR is completed, the manager has the option to schedule a new Performance Review for that trainee as a part of the Review completion process.
Once scheduled, a manager will be able to view the Performance Reviews on the user account directly.
When it comes to the due date for the scheduled performance review, both the manager and the user will receive an email notification to confirm the date and time of the review, and who it is with.
All scheduled performance reviews can be seen in the Performance Reviews option.
The Performance Review Process
The Reviewee Experience
The Trainee will be able to prepare for and access their part of the Performance Review in “My reviews” section of their training homepage.
Once selected, this opens up into the Trainee Performance Review Questions form.
After completing the Performance Review Questions, the Reviewer will be notified by email.
The Trainee can return to their feedback at any time and update it or download their own copy.
If the Trainee modifies their original feedback, they will be prompted to send a system notification to their Reviewer again to inform them of any changes.
When the Review has been marked and determined as complete by the Reviewer, the Trainee can view a log and access the .PDF from their “My reviews” screen, below any new and upcoming scheduled Performance Reviews.
The Reviewer Experience
The Reviewer will be able to see when the Trainee has updated the Performance Review with their answers, comments, and can add their feedback to complete the Performance Review .PDF.
Once responses from the Reviewer and Reviewee are completed, the Performance Review on the system is complete – ready for either a face to face appointment or to be marked as complete.
Marking as complete will send the Reviewer through a two-part final review stage of the Performance Review, allowing them to add any final notes, including providing responses to the KPIs. Reviewers will have the option to schedule a new Performance Review as a part of this completion form.
After being completed, the .PDF document of the Performance Review can be accessed either from an Administrator view of the Trainee Account, or in the Performance Review Schedule of the Reviewer.
