This feature is only available by Super Admin users, please contact Bolt support if you would like changes made to this feature.
Custom fields are created when you wish to store/gather additional information for a user. You can choose for these extra fields to be mandatory or optional.
Click on ‘Custom fields’ within the ‘Settings’ tab.
If you have previously created custom fields, they will be displayed here.
To create a new custom field, click on ‘+Create custom trainee field’.
Choose the ‘type’ of custom field required.
Note: the address field performs an address look up service, making it easier for the user to fill in.
The unique identifier is required so that all fields can be differentiated between. It must be a lower system name with no non-alphanumeric characters.
By activating ‘Required’, the field becomes mandatory.
You are able to select the order in which the field question should be displayed.
Show in summary
If you have users registering using a training code, this option displays the field in the summary displayed to a user before setting a password.
The label is the title of your 'custom field'. This will be displayed above the field entry box.
The help text will display when the user hovers over a field entry to explain in more detail what information should be entered into that field box.
Once you have added all the necessary information, click ‘Create field’.
