Proficiencies are designed to ensure trainees are proficient in their role. This is done by linking their role to training content that is required to be complete before the trainee is deemed proficient.
To add a Proficiencies, select 'Training' from the navigation menu.
Select 'Proficiencies' from the drop-down menu.
If no proficiencies have been set up, you can click the blue button to create a new proficiency.
Alternatively, if proficiencies have already been created on your LMS, select '+Create new proficiency'.
This will open the screen with the basic parameters associated with proficiencies.
Enter the 'Name' of the proficiency. Terminology will need to be entered for all languages enabled on your LMS.
Enter the 'Duration' of the proficiency, the drop-down can be used to select Days, Weeks or Years. There is a 'Detailed explanation' that can be opened in the blue above the Duration.
To add or remove training items, click the button labelled 'Add/remove items'.
You can now select the available types of training items from the menu on the left and then simply click the blue 'Add>' button for the required items in each category.
The selected item will move the grey box on the far right and can be removed by clicking the red minus symbol.
Click 'Create proficiency' to save changes.
To edit an existing proficiency, select the required proficiency from the list on the Proficiencies page.
